It is true that Extreme Language Exchange has some similarities to speed dating i.e changing partners every 10 minutes, but that is where the similarities end. The idea of the events is to practice languages not to pick up someone for a fling. If two people meet and there is chemistry, that is great. But please do not come to the exchange if you are looking to pick someone up. Word spreads fast and chances are if there are enough complaints then you will be asked to leave.
